I never buy fakes....except this one M35

I dont buy fake or copys but I brought this until one day I can afford it or win the lottery.
Its from Jacob Caputo @ alexander and sons restorations.
I know its not real and It Will be the only fake I ever plan to buy.

Is a M35 With the Q66 mark of quist.
Helmet is restored to look like a vet capture from Monte Cassino.

I know I shouldnt have pleasure in owning a fake but as soon as I seen it I thought wow.
Its a really nice copy.
I vowed to never own a copy so this will be my only one.

Not a horrible copy. Chicken wires are sky high, so this one will be a nice fill in. Did you buy it on his eBay site?

Pete, it is NOT a fake at the moment. A fake is something "set up or contrived to present as genuine; counterfeit."
Alexanders did not represent or sell it as other than a restoration - as long as it remains represented as such, then it doesn't transcend into becoming a fake in my book.
