Article about: Are you familiar with this photo? I know that it originated from an archeological group in Europe but I do not know the name of the group or how to contact them?

    Hi,
    The helmet looks like an M1 U.S, as the sides are not low enough for a Russian, but where was it taken ?

    Dave ... that is what I am trying to find out, as I said in my opening post. All that I know is that it was discovered by a battlefield archeological group that I believe is based somewhere in Europe?

    Hi Gents,

    I think it could be the skull of a Finnish soldier, they used many different types of helmets during ww2 including russian, german, swedish and italian. The two below bear a close resembalance to the photo and are first italian, then russian.
