    "The Best Years of Our Lives" is one of my favorites. It was filmed in 1946 and is about three returned servicemen trying to adjust to civilian life. Cass

    how about come and see kolberg and yamato the last battle i dont own kolberg yet sadly but the others are classic unknown greats

    yeah shadow i managed to get a copy a few years back and was freaked when i saw the live fire scene with the cow good old communist russia what were they thinkin oh we can replace an actor no biggy lol

    i also have yamato the last battle from 2005 might be able to sort a copy out if your after it they actually built a 2/3 scale yamato to film on along with the 70 foot model in kure japan

    I also have the movie "Come and See", its good movie

    shadowwolf - I helpt with the production, and have seen it many times

    It is a really good movie, but it is a new style movie that is supposed to go fast and with lots of action you know... but all in all it is a really good movie

    Just happen to see; "In Transit "; an intresting theme based on the true story of German prisoners of war in a Russian work camp after ww II.
    But not a good film, despite the cast.(Thomas Kretschmann,John Malkovich,Vera Farmiga).

    Hey,
    What about "When the Trumpets fade" not very realistic but a good movie about the "death factory" HurtgenWald.
    The final attac on Schmidt and the Kall-trail by the bloody bucket division...
