    Was able to see this live today here in MN. See video of Jim Carroll Honored with medal from France. He was a paratrooper who was 18 and dropped into Normandy. End of video talks about every Sunday in his 90's he goes and puts flowers on his bride's grave site. Hope you enjoy the short video.

    I saw a story about this on Sunday. The day before the ceremony.
    He said that if he were to accept the medal, it would be to honor
    his friends that had were not around anymore to accept theirs,

    Imagine that... 18 years "old" parachuting from a plane only to land in totally foreign and hostile enemy territory. The mind reels.
