I'm glad this one has been brought back up again!
The 'Real or fake' titles are becoming more and more common.
Please, at least take the time to tell us what the item you're enquiring about it is! It will also come up in search results for future reference.
Typing 'real or fake' into the search box is not what we want to do!!!!!!!
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Probably a bump on a regular basis of this thread would be a good idea !

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.

i agree. some of this is an eye-opener for me as far as what the difference is between a simple forum and creating a sensible and valuable resource.
members should read this so that it becomes second nature... both new and old members.
you might even consider pinning it somewhere, especially somewhere that new members will see it straight away.
Is there an introductions section that this can be pinned to with other threads like this for new members joining up?
Thanks Ade for the common sense and good advice. However forums are a two way medium could you perhaps include a word on the quality of replies to threads - these "not for me" "I don't like it" "fake" "not in my collection" etc posts without a reason to support it, can't they give at least a single reason why ?
Bumping this thread just as a gentle reminder.
Cheers, Ade.

I notice we are still getting threads without any information in the titles to aid when searching for the subject in question.
