Default Latest dig on TV news

I have been working on a new Welsh language archaeology TV series to be shown on S4C early next year. The latest and last episode filmed last week made it onto the national news for Wales last night. I am surprised at how often you can see me, but mostly from my best side, from the back.

The site was an Iron age hillfort with Roman period use which was thought to possibly be the site of a lost Welsh castle from the 12th century, though no evidence for it was found. Also an early post medieval windmill was thought to be there which we found in the trench that I was running.

Not sure why they felt the need to show me lighting a fag.

It is in Welsh and will probably only work for those in the UK.

The images work for Belgium too, just the language....was it found in one of those pits?? (lol).
    No, just kidding.
I liked it, and it is good those languages are kept alive.

Works fine here in the States....took me watching twice, though, to catch the bit with the cigarette (at 1:29 for those who are curious...lol) Unfortunately, despite my being somewhat Welsh descended, I have no clue as to what was being said...Welsh always looks like all consonants to Me...lol

    Wonderful news!!

Now i know you are tired of digging ditches, but trying to ruin your only breathing organs with highly poisonous smoke just to get away from the digging is a bit rough if you ask me. hrm hrm hrm.

Thanks Dave, mind you I have done a fair bit of TV work previously, on the news quite a few times but I also used to work as an extra.
