Looking for a place to call home

Default Looking for a place to call home

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Jim and I am 45 years old. My interests are wide and varied, having historical interests from the beginning of time to present day. I have tried to narrow my focus, but can not. I am, for all intents and purposes, a militaria junkie! I do however find myself most interested in all collectibles from WWII and bayonets from around the world. I have not been an active online participant for sometime.

I started the bayonet forum and database on the MCF forum years ago. I spent more time and effort in building it up than I care to remember, only to have it all flushed down the crapper. As you can imagine, it left a bad taste in my mouth and really put me off on forums. I have found myself really missing being apart of the community and look to be apart of it again. Looking around here I recognize a few names and like what I see.

Here's hoping this is the place to be,
    Jim P

    Welcome aboard.
I look forward to seeing what you've got.

I started out collecting bays when I was 12-13 years old.
You could find them in surplus stores and flea markets for
$10. Most are gone but I still have a half dozen or so in
    a box somewhere

Welcome aboard Jim. This Forum is comprised of a great number of knowledgable collectors. This is a serious place for study. No attitudes allowed here. We all are here to learn.
