    Well done Ade and Lez ! What an honour to meet those veterans ! Good to see you can still Russian march Ade, wont be long before it starts to get tricky

    Excellent article and photos Ade. An honour and privilege to attend and be so involved with the ceremony and meet such fascinating people. Thank you for sharing the day.

    Thanks for the comments Guys.

    It was a fantastic day which we will remember for ever.

    Adrian: We were a bit "worse for wear" by 11pm! The 10 walk back to the apartment took 30 mins

    Steve: Trust you! Lez rarely wears a dress and there is one funny photo with the Duke eyeing up her legs which really made us smile. Of course the old boys laid on the charm with her too.

    Paul: heard some great stories. Perhaps one comment from Stan will always stay with me: "You never forget the sight of a man hit by a 20mm shell....."
