Hi Guys, last week Lez and I had the honour of attending two official events to mark Victory Day in London. Jamie, seen here with us, is also a forum member.

Please see all the other photos in the link at the end of the article. Excellent Pics care of my friend Keith Nisbet.

Excellent article and photos Ade. An honour and privilege to attend and be so involved with the ceremony and meet such fascinating people. Thank you for sharing the day.

    Thanks for the comments Guys.

It was a fantastic day which we will remember for ever.

Adrian: We were a bit "worse for wear" by 11pm! The 10 walk back to the apartment took 30 mins

Steve: Trust you! Lez rarely wears a dress and there is one funny photo with the Duke eyeing up her legs which really made us smile. Of course the old boys laid on the charm with her too.

Paul: heard some great stories. Perhaps one comment from Stan will always stay with me: "You never forget the sight of a man hit by a 20mm shell....."

    Cheers, Ade.
