    Remembering those that allow us to enjoy and study this time in History on this and many other Militataria forums..let us never forget the sacrifice that allows our pleasures and comfort to succeed and being with our loved ones..including our brothers and sisters here on this WRF forum.

    Thankyou Veterans today and Yesterdays Past . We Salute you

    This is one of my ancestors, Private Alvah Kirk, K Co. 95th Regt. NY Infantry...Wounded in the Battle of Spotsylvania on May 28th 1864, he died 2 days later of "Exhaustion" following the amputation of his lower left leg...

    Thank you Larry . It was well said and so important to those that have given the ultimate for their country.
    As this day ends it should always remembered that many have given their lives so that we can live in freedom.
    WE are thankful for their sacrifice and they shall never be forgotten,
    To my brothers and sister that have served and gave their all. WE THANK YOU!!!
