I'm hoping this is the proper place for this thread. I am trying to get a few pointers before I join the US armed forces. I would prefer to go through one of the military academies, but I'm not sure that it will work out. I'm not sure whether OCS or ROTC in college would be better. I have already decided that I want to be a pilot and should have my private pilot's license next year. I have thought of the Air National Guard, but realized that I can't fly until I'm 18. Has anyone had any experience with simultaneous membership with the Army National Guard and Air Force or Navy ROTC? Through the rest of high school, I'd like to join the infantry in my state's National Guard for the time being with a six year period. If anyone has any pointers, they would be suggested. There seems to be so many routes and options, that it is so overwhelming. College directly after HS is a requirement for me.

Thanks
