    Thanks guys! I am very pleased with both the new family member and the trip.

    I have to say, I got very strange vibes out of the redoubt. It's a weird feeling to stand on such a small battleground, aware that the enemy had won there. That must be similar to the feeling a Japanese tourist gets when he or she visits a place like Iwo Jima.

    I was not aware that there had even been a battle in Hong Kong, let alone the fact that the British garrison there was so ethnic. There were British, Canadian, Indian, and Chinese soldiers all stationed in the same place. Unfortunately the geography made it impossible to defend.
