I think it's a sellers or dealers silly way of saying 'just out of the woodwork'
    - which I also think is really dumb !

Or maybe a more polite way of saying: 'Look at this cool piece I have
for sale that I just got off this old man/woman for an insane
low price - the guy didn't know what he had.........!'

It could mean alot of different things to different people, but I think generally people tend to like the "fresh-never been seen before" aspect of woodwork finds. The thought that something has never before been in the hands of a collector Or a Dealer-never handled, evaluated and messed with is an attraction to most people. The thrill of making "the Find". To some, I think, it also means the possibility of getting a bargain on a prized piece, as it's never been cycled through dealers hands and inflated with mark-ups,add on's, etc. Of course, then again....maybe none of the above... *shrugs*

Lol - It means the dealer had to do a lot of haggling to get it.........!

Seriously though, I think William hit the nail on the head:
An item that is 'fresh found' - never passed from dealer
to collector or been messed with at all..........
