    Hi,I did not work for the city,in those days ( long long ago ) every licenced electrician got one every year,they were also different shapes each year,I moved west in `64 so I don`t know if they continued to issue them.....Pete.

    Interesting!
    I would guess that there are way too many electricians now to be issueing a metal badge for every one.
    What is also interesting is that I was only 5 years old when you received this badge.
