I knew that this would develop into an interesting subject guys!

Lost count of the number of times I've been sent down the ranges as a recruit to check on the physical state of a Fig 11 target.........not forgetting to get "his" name and number for the records!

    Memory recall now working Ian??

Fig 11 target.........large (man) size range target
    Fig 12 target.........small 1/2 size range target

Otherwise known as "Big Hun" and "Little Hun" because of the similarity to the German helmet style that was on the target.

G1098 was the form used by squodron and company qms to sign out kit to you that was not personal IE
sleeping bags ,comppasses ,watches and webbing
it was only valid for three months and had to be renuede
so it was hard work for sqms and cqms to run arround the sqn or comp trying to keep these up to date
if he missed you in thery you could keep what ever you had
BUT that was a bad idea becouse life could be made very hard for you
    cheers ian
and having thought about it ADE
you are right in a way becouse it was a list in a tick the box format and sign at the bottom
so ide say 75% on that one mate
