Most of you know that I like to create miniature swords. Since I have recently aquired a new motorcycle, I wanted to personalize it. I have been looking at my bike for a couple of weeks trying to figure out how and where to put a miniature sword on it. I started with a piece of 1/8th x 1" stainless flat bar and made this for my front fender. I have left a little of the original texture on the guard for effect. It may appear odd at first, but I had to curve it to fit on the fender properly.
Here it is on the bike.

I think it looks great Ralph.
I finally got some moments to pull out the paper tonight to do another sketch. This A2 piece in chalk and charcoal of a Luftwaffe trooper in his jaunty camo pot is based on a photo in Ken N's helmet book. I'm working on a couple more for some friends.
Andy, hey that really looks great!
I have a German style bar in my house. Instead of a dining room or spare bedroom I made my own Pub. I`m not well off by any stretch of the imagination but over the last couple of years I`ve pieced together my own pub. Darts, fruit machine, Guinness surger, German satellite TV and always at least 5 Bavarian wheat beers in stock. I had my own `Oktoberfest` last year. I even have my own facebook page.
Only thing (a good thing) is that there is no till. Beer is free.
Tonight I had a couple of mates in and there was Beer, Bratwurst and Bockwurst with curry and mustard on the menu. The 3 beers picture was tonight.
If anyone is in my neck of the woods the beer is free
Amazing! Be prepared for an influx of WRF types turning up now...........
Where do you source your beers?
