People's Liberation Army medal ribbon arrangement

Hello all,

Could the PLA collectors / enthusiasts of the forum please answer my question on the arrangement of medal ribbons? It seems to me that they follow the Soviet practice of awarding multiple identical ribbons, but a specific diagonal pattern is used, unlike the less confusing horizontal arrangement used by most countries.
