    Four crewmen actually got out of the blazing Panther, the fifth crewman loses his struggle in the turret cupola.

    The Sherman tank loses three crewmen.

    The dead driver, Julian H. Patrick, was still in the drivers seat a day later.

    The Pershing was a beast. Just imagine if the USA developed it earlier in the war I.E North Africa campaign. If we fitted the Brits with this monster Whoa 😲

    My first boss was a Sherman driver in the 3rd AD during ww2. His Sherman
    was knocked out but a Tiger but luckily it just destroyed the tracks and all
    of the crew were able to get out.

    It's so claustrophobic inside one of the German cats, with the hatches being so small, it's a wonder that four men did get out

    I'm still trying to work out how a Tiger driver, drove the monster, with his head out of his hatch ...
