    Private purchase boot knife, would be my guess.

    I'm inclined to think this is later than WWII - 60's.........?

    Maybe I'm being on the pessimistic side but it looks to me like ""Made in Mexico" in English not Spanish. Ciudad Juarez in Chihuahua, or Tijuana in Baja California to the North where there is (or was) a lot of tourist trade? Best Regards, Fred

    Yep, surely a souvenir item with a dubious sheath, most likely very post-war and IMO definately not military.

    Apart from that welcome to the forum and let's see the other items.

    Agree, crudely made tourist item. Not dissimilar to knives my Dad would bring me back from his travels when I was a kid.
