I have kept pics of all my items good and bad over the years. It has been a great learning curve for me with help of this great forum we have. So not sure what it is other than Fantasy 4

I see gunny that you have a bad SS buckle, I nearly bought one the other week, thank goodness Ben has that pinned fake SS buckle thread, In that case I found it easier to compare it to a known fake than troll through all the originals.
Its nice to see that some of you have not been biting yet and some have only made the odd mistake.
Again thanks all for showing, but I am sure there must be more. None of us are prefect are we.

I have bought tons of fakes, mostly before I joined the forum. Here are some more recent photos from my hall of shame:

Original armband, post war insignia (for sale if anybody wants it)

Online Auction buy, I knew something was wrong when I won it for $40

Luckily I got a partial refund on this DRK fake

Your correct Gunny that one I seen was £35 alarm bells were ringing as it was at an auction. I seen someone there pay £80 for a hollow backed brass black wound badge with 95% of its paint removed, it was listed as gold, By the way I hope your new job is going ok.
Sir payne what is that second helmet, and thanks for posting.
