The year is all but gone. So let's see what was your
best new acquisition of the year.

Tough one, because a lot of what I bought this year I then sold.

So it was either my rare early NSDAP tunic or my Von Blomberg Signed promotion document.

Cool idea for a thread It's been quite slow this year but my best has to be this M35 winter camo helmet.

This would be my best pick-up.
Somewhat unglamorous but It has a tripple Tasmanian connection.
    Sgt C L Hoffman was a Tasmanian
The mini patch (white over red) were the colours of the 40th Derwent Battalion (Tasmanian) and was Hoffmans original unit.
And best of all the Tunic is Tasmanian made (T20 manufactures code).
Tasmanian made garments are very hard to find and the tripple Tassie conection is far from common.

I did acquire a super double decal SS transitional early on in 2013 (and had to include a few pictures of it here), but the best score of the year, thanks to Chris, was the commercial no decal SS M18 stamped to the Sachenhausen Concentration Camp. It was a SSuper year (to plagiarize Doug's signature style)! Cheers, Jim G.

I had a really slow year. I added only 2 new pieces.
I'm not sure which to post. This was my first.

A 3/4 sized "Prinzen" 1870 iron cross. Pictured next
    to a full sized version.
