    Hey Mark;
    impossible to estimate ... I have got like several 250 l barrels full!
    But they come from a factory I cleared years ago, and they are mostly similar Belgian buttons.
    The main collection holds like +/-1500 different buttons, mainly Belgian,then comes France or(not sure for the momment!) Brittain and then Holland with a wide variety of buttons.
    All other European country's are mostly represented, but do not hold that great variety.
    Then comes Afrika with 5 or 6 country's (mainly Commonwealth country's).
    All of South America exept Cuba and Mexico with at least one button.
    And 3 to 4 middle east coutry's with also at least one button.
    And 2 or 3 far east country's.
    I am planning to elaborate the German section now, as i only got 30 to 40 different German buttons.
    All the buttons of the main collection are different, although some have the same image on the front, but come in different sizes (mostly two!) and different backmarks (that can go up to 15 different backmarks, for Britain and France (same maker but different lay-out!) and 5 or 6 for Belgium!
    It can be easy some times to find foreign buttons in Belgium due to the fact that some where made here.
    Like the Brazilian marine button, or the Egypte tramway's, even the Moscou underground buttons were originaly made in Brussel.

    I got a little booklet with a large number of british button's at my last button-deal!
    So i planned to organize the British section according to the one's represented in the book!
    I wich I had a similar book for all my other buttons.

    I only have a few buttons. My two favorites are gold pebbled buttons for the NSDAP if I remember correctly. The others are old Heer tunic buttons I ended up putting on my repro SS tunic display because the ones it came with were too cheap and shiny looking for my taste.
