Relic mess tin
Not the greatest find of 2013 but liked that beat up lived it look....and it was less than £10
A relic aluminium kidney-shaped mess tin engraved by a Polish(???) PoW held in Norway. I can't decipher all of the place names so maybe someone might kindly be able to assist

First photo shows locations in Finland , Petsamo , Rovaniemi they are located on what was the Eismeerfront on the Finnish / Russian border.

I think you are correct Stefan this looks more like a mess tin from a Soldier with the 20 Gebirgs Armee who was stationed in Norway but also fought in Karelia !!
