    ill put the preverbial cat amongst by saying
    a helmet with the best you can get paint and mabe original decals (wich would be a shame) but decals any way is in its way also a restoration ..
    ??? as long as it is documented as restored?? i realy dont see the diference
    RESTORED IS RESTORED a jeep or a plane is re painted with modern paint ,,so whats the diference??

    To china and ceramic collectors; a chipped, broken or restored item in anyway is worth zip!
    You can't imagine how much there is to do restoring those things!
    The most heard reason for restoration, is the" emotional value" to a item....
