My Russian is rather rusty but I think the song title is Sacred War.

I think I heard it referred to as the second National Anthem and it gets used during the Victory Day parades to this day. (Feel free to correct me!)
I suppose loosely speaking, not in terms of the content obviously but you could equate it to 'Jerusalem' for the Brits?
Note how the audience stood in silence and how the emotion was clearly written on many faces.

absolutely correct , to be more certain it's used towards with other songs as well

like this one, it was criticised as a jazzy music by soviet critics ones, but when it's kicker on , it become famous at ones.
