    Wow...I would have Loved to have a complete set of his melted WWI bullets/tin soldiers! Amazing idea-such History in your hands! And now this man is gone?? A Physically crippled but Incredibly clear sighted man! I hope his dream doesn't vanish with him! If Any one has a set of his soldiers or knows where a complete set could be found, please let me know!

    Wow, what an interesting man! I agree with William, I think one of these soldiers would be excellent to have, what a great way to teach young kids about the ww1 battlefields. There is something nice about taking something that was designed to kill and turning it into something as innocent as a small toy soldier, a really terrific idea. A shame the world has lost this bloke.

    What a nice gesture to donate all proceeds of the limited series lead soldier to the monument.

    Very poignant also that the mould would be embedded in the base of the monument.

    Somehow very fitting ...
