Default Someone stole part of my car`s Taillight

Last night while i was working on my computer, someone was down in the street, very occupied in stealing a part of car`s taillight.
I woke up this morning, i was drinking my coffe and looking out the window and i noticed this.
Who ever did this was very precise in removing the thing.I called the police to report it and then drove to the dealership to ask the price for a new one.
The guy told me that peugeot does not sell just that piece, they will only sell the intire taillight-400 eurossssss.
    Im so mad

hi ,know how you feel mate , its a bummer . the part was more than likely stolen because you cant purchase just the part that was taken . just another was to get ripped by the dealers , no parts just the whole unit . its not just the militaria dealers that screw us. ....cheers paul

Dou you have dealers in second hand parts over there?
If you do try it or surf the internet for it you might get it way cheaper(pirat and orriginal parts).
I have a 207 and some punk ripped off my antenna 3 weeks a go (antenna 8 euro, antenna base 28 euro, placing 160 euro )
So I know how you feel.

    Regards,
    Steven

It is quite possible, because tha bas*`*ds simply cut down the plastic of the taillight.
What i noticed is that its 2 piece transformed into 1, they put the taillight and then they glue the exterior plastic on to it.
    But they arent selled separately.
Tomorow ill have to start looking in junkyards and in second hand shops for it, and in the afternoon i have to go to the police station again, for them to give me a credential, in order to be allowed to drive the car with a "busted taillight"
