    Hey all

    Well, we arrived at our holiday cottage last Saturday and started looking through the piles of leaflets on the attractions in the area.

    I pick up the one for South Devon Railway and guess what.

    A 1940's weekend !!!!!

    It was great to see so much stuff on display, and all of it free to look at and fiddle with, with the owners consent of course. I had a great time and lost the wife Found her again about an hour later though (only kidding Wouldn't trade her in for the world..... although I might be tempted for a Sherman )

    Here are pictures of some of the stuff that was on display.

    That's a good result Steve! It looks like a good way to spend a holiday - at least from your point of view........
    Where are you staying?

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Rattery....place called Knowle farm. I would highly recommend it. Nice people and lovely location.

    AND the Mrs let me go to Slapton sands
