    Default Sten Mk II

My collection's forum debut, with one of my most recent purchases. Snagged it prior to the new EU specifications coming into effect. It cocks, clicks, and strips down as the functional version would, with the exception of the barrel. To the best of my knowledge, it's a very early British-made example of the Mk II, with the serial number FA 72705. Have noticed some odd markings on the trigger guard and stock as well. In very rough shape, with a lot of the finish gone. Although I prefer this, as it indicates the weapon has 'been there and done it.'
If anyone can tell me a bit more about what I have, and what those odd markings mean, I'd be very appreciative.

    Regards, and thanks for viewing.
