That Bites! Hope he had it all documented with pics and the like. Like Glenn66 mentioned about beating the relative, hope his point of sale information was extracted before the beating. This beating. In non-visable areas of course. If not continue the beatings untill the required data is extracted. I am sure that there are members of this forum that have experience in prisoner data extraction. Rich A. in Pa.

That's rough, you could try putting a 'wanted' add on Craigslist for some of the stuff that was stolen, and see if anybody contacts you.

RH 1941 made a great point ,, if it is drug related the trail should still be warm,, as to check the local antique stores and pawn shops. Drug addicts dont wait for appointments to see Militaria dealers,, they need the cash fast. Just a thought. I hope everything works out for the best Larry

Exactly Larry. They will sell it for "pennies on the Dollar" so to speak. They probably wont even travel far to sell it.

I really hope this will end up good for you guys.

    Kind regards, Lars

I'd start breaking knee caps. A lot of police departments are keeping electronic pawn records databases now, which makes theinformation on pawned available almost as it happens. Put a big price tag on the items. The higher the value of all the items, the more the detectives will care to find them and the higher the priority. It ***** to put it that way, but it's reality as manpower dictates how much a case is investigated, especially property crimes.

Sorry for his loss. Sound like a very valuable collection which is why all valuables should be locked in a secure safe and don't run your mouth about valuables. hope this piece of crap that stole the items ODs.

Pawn shops do not have to divulge information to anyone regarding their purchases
or even who they buy from - or at least that's how it works here. It's a real shame
the collection could be lost for eternity, but I hope this is not the case
and most or all of it turns up.........!
    Regards,

    Steve.

Hi Steve down here the pawn shops are supposed to notify the local pd's of what they take in . Know what they get and what they report are two different things .
