Thanks, Nick. Likewise to you, if you ever visit the U.S.
It was great to meet you Nick! Glad to have finally got round to it before you moved on! Oh, and that military Museum was shut for Christmas when I tried to go, so I'll have to do so next visit.
Here's some shots I took around York this time- (I love the place, and highly recommend a visit to anyone who hasn't yet been!)
Happy New Year everyone!
Great to see forum friends getting together!
Nice pictures of a beautiful looking place.
Great Photographs, may I ask what camera you used?

[/SIZE]Have a look at my 20+ (so far, work in progress) albums for lots of M1's, rare liners and other stuff, including WW2British helmets, Falklands battlefield pickup helmets and let me know what you think!
Thanks! Andy, the camera is a Sony a290. I used a Macro lens for some of them.
They really are terrific pics, what a beautiful looking place.
Nick, you look very dapper in that attire!
Amazing pics Mat, the river is still high !
It was great meeting you! You will have to visit me in Blackpool next year !
"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
Hmmm, Blackpool rock, I like lollies!
Was it an open bar, Nick?
Wonderful pictures as usual, Mat.
