I am wondering what are your favorite item(s) are in your collection. I know it can be hard choosing a favorite, but you may choose multiple.
My favorite item is my SS dagger and belt.

WWII collecting is fun
While I mainly collect Iron Crosses, I started out collecting bayonets
and fighting knives. I had them nailed to my bedroom wall as a kid.
In 1972, for my 16th birthday, a very close family friend gave me a
German sawtooth bayonet that her husband had sent home from
France while serving in WW1. This is still my favorite and will never
be for sale, not because it is rare or unique in some way. ( it is not)
But just because of who gave it to me.

Live to ride -- Ride to live
Dog,
Nice dagger. I've always wanted to add a SS to my collection.
I've always found them to be a bit out of my price range.

My WWI Colt 1911. M40 double decal Combat Police helmet. EKI "65" and EKII. Minty HJ armband with tag.
Looking for:
1) A court mounted EKII
2) M42 of no collector value, bare steel if possible. Liner and liner bands not needed.
Nice items guys![]()

If anyone would like a custom piece of artwork for your war room please let me know! I am currently doing A2 sized sketches of a subject of your choice. Either copy an existing picture or create a scene based on your brief. Details in the 'other militaria' section of the classifieds.
I also have a deac Mk1 (1941) Enfield Bren gun & Transit case for sale, mint condition. Also looking for trade offers. UK only I'm afraid.
Other than my Dad's medals, I have way too many favorites and I will have to give this some serious contemplation to chose a single item. If hurried, I would say either the green 1st pattern Heer tropenhelm, or maybe the KM reused Italian tropical helmet, thought the two Luftwaffe examples are very good, though the unbadged example is a favorite, whilst the green 2nd pattern was the first one I bought
