I speak Spanish and English (Mexican and American variants) although an Englishman and a Spaniard might beg to disagree. I also speak some Maya.

English as home language , Afrikaans as second and a smattering of Zulu.

To digress slightly - our indigenous folk are probably amongst the most multi-lingual of all. They, of necessity, speak English and Afrikaans (as do all of us), their home language of Zulu, Khosa, Tswana etc. and most have a good grasp of the other principal languages. We have 11 official languages in SA including Khoi-San (the language of the Bushmen) which is dying out.
