Yesterday I found a pair of WWII us mountain goggles in a barn for a quarter, I missed out on a DAK belt and canteen for five dollars!

Look around any of the militaria shops in Ste Mere Eglise for example and you will have any amount to choose from.
    This is true!

How about this, a mid grade single decal M40 SS helmet on a newbie dealer website for over $13,000.....when you can pick one up on any given Sunday for half that amount.

Or an SS Panzer wrap, with good provenance mind you and published in the Beaver books, asking price $150,000 by the same "dealer".

The best was a fake black SS DD helmet that a clown auctioneer was trying to push over on WAF, figured it was worth in excess of $20,000. He auctioned it off for about $2000 and that was $2000 too much that some poor sucker wound up with...

The list goes on and on and on....collect for the love of the history and the artifact not for money! :-)
