I just finished "Ardennes 1944", by Anthony Beevor. I enjoyed his other books, but I must say that this one was not a compelling read, IMHO.

I bought it and read it before Christmas, £7 from Tesco, I thought it was ok, quite interesting. I found the information regarding the relationship between Monty and Bradley quite amusing. Perhaps the subject matter is not as compelling as the other subjects he writes about, I thought it was worth the read
I am hoping to visit the Ardennes before Christmas this year to get a feel for what it was like at that time
Cheers
My current reading, I am off to Guernsey for the Bank Holiday Weekend
Cheers
