I loved when Helga was hiding the knockwurst in ALLO, ALLO> There was a sketch on the old Carol Burnett variety show when Tim Conway attempts to interrogate Lyle Wagonner ( captured pilot} with a little Hitler hand puppet, who it making all these threats while wildly gesticulating and screeching in a mock hitler manner. I has to be on you tube someplace I am glad to see no one as yet said Gomer Pyle. Unfunny and foolishly disrespectful from where I sit.

Windsor Davies as the CSM in 'It Aint Half Hot Mum'-the classic Sar Major!
The '60s seems to have been the peak in the US of service comedies on TV-'Sgt Bilko', 'No Time For Sgts', 'F Troop', 'McHale's Navy', 'Gomer Pyle', 'Hogan's Heroes'...

As you lost the title of the thread, Ill bring you up to speed; the title was 'Which movie about WWII is a total joke, badly performed and toe curling.'

BTW if you wonder; your suggested movie posted above fits that description perfectly.
