Just a waiter.... wish i had a better job
C'mon, Its not that bad. My fiance brings home $150-200 a night and more on the weekends doing it at a decent steakhouse!! Only works 32 hrs a week there too! I get jealous sometimes, when I have a slow week, let me tell ya! haha

I am self-employed. After working for many different Landscape/Landscape Construction companies....I realized I was better off on my own. So my younger brother and I started our own company (LLC) a few years back. I enjoy about 85% of my job! lol

Here is part of a tree we cut down the other day! (we had hauled off 2 trailer fulls already). And a couple pics of 2 of our mowers

I'm a Contract Manufacturing Engineer, meaning I go where the work is. This type of work does give me a lot of off time between contracts, but when I am working the money is terrific. I have been doing this for about twenty years, with a few "direct" positions here and there. I've worked in Missouri, Massachusetts, Conneticut, Kansas and even Puerto Rico for companies such as Emerson Electric Space and Defense Div., Boeing, Lear Seating, Hawker Beechcraft and, starting in two weeks, Caterpillar Tractor. I've been involved, in some degree, in the C-17, F-18, a fiber optic controlled missle system, avionics for military and commercial aircraft, both fixed and rotor wing. Still looking for that elusive contract position in the UK.

I work for a company that builds custom trucks and trailers. In the past, most
of our work was in the motorsports/racing industry. I have worked on projects
for many of the pro drag race teams as well as Nascar, Indy Car, American LeMans
teams. Also for a couple Monster trucks, Off shore boats and for the Dekar rally.

With the economy the way it is, the last couple years have been real tough for
anyone in the racing industry. We are picking up the slack by building more
projects for fire and police departments. Mobil command centers and support
    and educational trailers.

One of the more high profile jobs we did was to get a airport crash truck ready
for the movie "Transformers Dark of the Moon" The truck we did was the bad
guy in the movie, the character Sentinal Prime.

I am just a glorified electrician and fabricator. Our company once had 30
employes and now we are down to 5. I hope this economy turns around
    soon.

Me was a team leader on a swat team for about 14 years. Left to become a firefighter love it nothing like seeing small children waving at you as you go buy on your way to a call.

At the moment I'm basicly doing several things at once, might as well just say that I'm jack of all trades as I've done painting, joinery work, bricklaying, construction of dry stone dykes etc etc I'm really just filling up the time until I leave for the army, been through the selection/recruitment process so now its just a matter of waiting

    Thanks

I am a maintainance electrician, automation specialist and instrument mechanic. When something stops working and everyone else gives up on trying to figure out why, that's where I start.
