Whats your Job?

G'day All

My job is a hard one to explain, but I've worked in film and TV for the last 18 years and now work in one of the rarest jobs in the TV industry "Network Recovery" operating national on-air shadow broadcast for three channels simultaneously.

I run the entire network play out (commercials, programs & live programming to air as well as preparation of these) during failures and maintenance at the main station interstate.

Ahh my job reminds me of being a fighter pilot - Tuff action in the air, but clean sheets on the ground
being on air often results in instant reactions with out being able to think it through first> I have to fix staff F'ups very quickly even though my train of thought was on other issues
+ I meant to add for you Steve, I wear my A2 often when I'm on air

bugger that I ain't switching that hehehe I'm super glad we got rid of AFL, bloody live sports, tough stuff. I even had to do live base ball and me being Aussie I had no idea on how the game worked!!!! (break structures as well) me shaking I'll tell you that!!!!
Oh I do love cricket but not when I'm involved, I really disliked the IPL as all of my co workers did due to the silly un godly hours we worked
