Wow that very cool this probably happened more than once there is probably tons of undelivered letters from ww2 all over, what I don't understand is how the letter could have sat for 69 years going unnoticed. This was an interesting article

Interesting article which could pose a moral dilemma to any of us who have personal letters in their collections.
Would you try and contact the family to return those letters?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
