    Hi

    Continuing the hard work to provide history and culture.
    Over the next month i will be giving a 2 day event at the local Municipal Library.
    Date and some details are yet to be confirmed but should be 15 and 16 of November

    Several lectures on different themes
    -Aviation
    -Weapons
    -History and historical items
    Counting with the presence of several historians and book authors.
    Book presentations
    There will be several fully dressed mannequins

    The theme will be "War in the Pacific"

    So far, Carlos Guerreiro - author of the of the book "Aterrem in Portugal" and Jorge Pereira - Aviation expert, have confirmed their presence.

    Today i have sent an invitation to the Japanese embassy, im hoping the Japanese Ambassador agrees to make a presentation about the occupation of Timor.
    I will send a few more invitations to the army and Military Museum.

    The director of the Lisbon Military Museum, Colonel Luís Albuquerque has confirmed, he will be present and will make a presentation about Japanese relics recovered in Timor, after the occupation.

    Dates are confirmed, 15th of November at 20 pm and Saturday 16th at 15 pm.
    At Oeiras municipal Library.

    Beeing this the 1st edition, I imagine you're planing on doing more on other WWII themes, right?

    How did you guess??

    I have plans for it but next one wont happen before March, as its the date for the Military Museum show.
    I have to concentrate hard until then.
