    I am a serving cop and as cheesy as it sounds I say an accident that you walk away from is a good accident. Luckily cars are built so well nowadays. I think someone was probably watching out for you (both).

    I think you are right Dave! A police officer I was talking to at the compound said a side slam into a car at that speed usually breaks the drivers neck. The young lad was so lucky!
