992 Sq. RAF WW2 40-45 Photo Album

My only british album & documents the mans travels rather than fighting which is sometimes refreshing. 3 or 4 pages of photos from each place.
I know nothing about the guy, any help appreciated.

Was this a Balloon Squadron? Why would he have gone to europe?

No.s 900-999sqns were Balloon units, used for defence of priorty targets, airfeilds, supply dumps, and HQs ect. some of these sqn numbers live on as air cadet units
