    never looked inside tbh...

the service book hasnt really been used. only the first page. no name. only says that the person was enlisted for NS on 1 NOV 1945

    skill at arms...
army number: 12345678 (seems unlikely to me?)
rank and name : Teacake J

    weapon No.
    rifle ... XYZ 9876

there are a few scores in the book. but not much is written in

Seems unlikely to me also. Sounds like they are unused but someone scribbled in them. They're OK though. You should be able to tell exactly when they were printed. Have a look at the end of each book and you should see the printing info line, usualy the very last printed line in the book. It will look something like:

    (12345) Wt. 45454-9999 1M 2/43 W.C.&S Ltd Gp. 345

In this case (which I made up) the 2/43 tells you it was printed Feb 1943 and the 1M that it was a 1 Million print run.
