I picked up this press photo recently, not normally my area of collecting but I liked it and that was a good enough reason to buy it!

The particular air raid in the photo is dated to April 29th 1944 and was printed in a U.S. newspaper on May 7th or 8th. Anhalter Station was one of the raids major targets.

The areas of Berlin picked out are:

    A - The River Spree
    B - Unter den Linden
    C - Anhalter Station
    D - Landwehr Canal
    E - Templehof Airport

It's a cool photo Adrian. It still has the 'crop marks' where
the publishers had sized it for printing.........

Thanks for your comments Candice and Steve. I like these press photos with the crop marks, it makes them seem more 'real' in a way.
I collect press photos like this of the actress Gene Tierney and very often they have the press cutting stuck to the reverse. Unfortunately this one didn't but I'm not going to display the back!

The Berlin B-17 photo gives me chills... I was at Anhalter Station in 2007 and had a hell of a good time...
