Article about: This looks a bit odd, but maybe I am wrong here... The name and signatures do not seem to match? and cannot locate any info' on this officer who got this ID in 1942... Any suggestions? Thank

    Heres his WW1 Medal Index Card, shows he also served in Iraq. If you go on the London Gazette website and search W A' C Beadon it turns up a few results as well.

    Im thinking that the signature on the photo is that of the officer who authorised the card? I guess so that they could not just be made up and used by anyone?
