    Default British Passport 1939-1940

    Hi,

Is there a way to locate in an individual was not a 'regular' traveling citizen?
This passport, issued to a British national, a merchant, living in Berlin, on May 11th 1939, extensive usage in Belgium, Holland, evacuating from France back to the UK to get a visa via Canada to the US...

His name was Frederick John Brown, born 1885...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Neil.

Neil, if Mr. Brown died in the U.S. there are several pay web sites(about $10 US) that have linked all the county death records for the entire country. I have looked up three people and found all three and where they were buried. With a full name and birth date, you won't have any problem finding him. I think that's what you were asking.

    Take care,
    Jay
