Hi,
Thought i'd post some pictures of imperial japanese army postcards sent by a British Prisoner of War. Sorry about the paintshop censoring- these are family treasures.
In the unlikely event that someone out there knows a serious heck of a lot about 1930s british racehorses:
The last postcard's short message is a code.....
It confused the family so it was handed in to the War Office.....
The code either says where the camp was, or that he was in a different camp (japanese making them disinform).
I'd love to know if this is true- anyone know what kind of War Office archives i should dig in (planning a trip to Kew)?
jim.
