Hi I hope I am posting this in the right place.
I thought people might like to see this. My Dad used to buy and sell antiques and this was something he kept. When I sorted his stuff after he died I kept this. It is a fascinating and unusual piece of social history. The closed coffin is 3 1/2" by 1 1/4" at the widest part. (9x3cm)

It is very well made. The hair is real and the gold cover looks like it is made from foil from a cigarette packet?
It is signed on the bottom and on one of the brass plates on the side of the coffin 'S G Ellingham 1939'. I wonder who he was?

I moved this as IMO is does not count as art, etc of the TR.

I have seen similar items before including one when you open the lid a spring loaded matchstick pops up in place of his todger.
