    I hope Texas pulls together and saves this beauty. So sad to see a beautiful ship allowed to waste away.

    A lot of those guys seemingly "loitering" on desk appear to be in different stages of exhaustion or shock. I am sure 6 hours after D-Day everyone one the crew was suffering from exhaustion...

    Great pics of a rare breed. She is priceless IMO, and should be
    preserved no matter what the cost. You need to write
    your congressman.........!
