    Default Leather Cover identifying!

Hi, I have this leather cover with the letters '' RWS 2d'' on it and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of what this is and where it came from, I don't know if it's US, Russian or what! On the inside it says '' Spaulding & co, France & Chicago, Made In France,. It has silky cloth on the inside and leather on the oustide, the inside folds. It is about 15 1/2 inches long and 12 inches wide. Thanks!

Looks like it is a folder for a portrait photograph. The portrait's subject was apparently someone named R.W.S. the 2nd.

I think William is correct. I also believe it's not 20th century,
but earlier - perhaps late 1880's or 1890's.........
